Horus Wide Band • Antiqued Silver
Originally conceived to depict the presence of the “third eye” in all of us, and to serve as a gentle reminder of how we often miss the answers we are looking for even when they are right in front of us.
Across cultures and time, eye symbols have come to represent vision, and the whole of the universe in balance - like the Taoist yin and yang symbol. Spiritually, the right eye symbolizes our solar, masculine energy, reason and mathematics. While the left eye has stood for a more fluid, feminine, lunar energy that rules our intuition and realm of magic.
A more substantial version from one of our most beloved collections, the hand carved, deep and penetrating eye has become the signature piece with well-formed, weather worn edges and antiqued finish, our Wide Horus Band is sure to become part of your everyday armor.

Antiqued sterling silver utilizes an oxidation process that creates a distressed, lived-in look. As a living finish, like your favorite jeans, it will only get better with wear—the dark crevices will deepen, and the high points will lighten. To preserve its rugged charm, skip the polish and let your body oils buff it to perfection.
Always remember to put your jewelry on last when getting dressed. AFTER cosmetics, perfume, hairspray, lotions, or other chemical substances that could be corrosive to the metal or stones. Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cotton cloth before storage.
For sterling silver or 18k gold, a few drops of a mild PH neutral soap with water and a soft cotton cloth. Dry thoroughly before storing. A light sweep with a polishing cloth on the high surfaces while allowing the dark to remain in the crevices will highlight the design's details. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials as they can damage the metal, finish, and stones.
Let your antiqued or oxidized silver weather naturally. Do not clean or polish.
Bead pieces should always be dried flat, never hung.
For deep cleaning or restorations, we recommend sending your pieces to the studio as many of our finishing techniques are proprietary. Each request is handled individually, please contact the studio to discuss.
We do not use cadmium or zinc in our any of our gold, sterling, or solder. All of our earring designs incorporate a 14k gold hoop or post back with butterfly clutch. And our 18k white gold is nickel free. This should cover most common metal allergies, if something different is needed, please contact the studio we are happy to discuss recommendations.
