Gold Pearl Roma • Endless Hoop Charm Earring
Reminiscent of an ancient Roman coin and tribute to filmmaker Federicco Fellini, our deeply worn and textured Roma Earring encircles a White Japanese Saltwater Akoya Pearl with a contrasting polished frame. A timeless yet modern classic depicting cyclical perfection in 18k gold. The outer circle offers protection while the center provides a point of focus, inviting us to step inside its sacredness. Astrologically this is the symbol of the sun.

Designed to mix or match. How will you wear yours?
To preserve their natural luster, your pearls should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. After wearing, wipe with a soft cotton or chamois cloth dry or lightly moistened. This will prevent dirt from accumulating and keep perspiration, which is slightly acidic, from attacking at the pearl’s surface. When not in use, store in a protective pouch.
Avoid contact with hairspray, perfumes, lotions, creams, ammoniated liquid, nail polish remover, detergents, powder cleaners, baking soda, ammonia, or chlorinated water.
Pearls may be gently washed in water with a few drops of a mild PH neutral soap and a soft cotton cloth. Rinse, pat gently and lay FLAT to finish drying on a soft towel. Do not hang to dry. NEVER use a commercial cleaner, ultrasonic, or steam clean. Following these simple guidelines your pearls will retain their natural beauty for decades.
Always remember to put your jewelry on last when getting dressed. AFTER cosmetics, perfume, hairspray, lotions, or other chemical substances that could be corrosive to the metal or stones. Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cotton cloth before storage.
For sterling silver or 18k gold, a few drops of a mild PH neutral soap with water and a soft cotton cloth. Dry thoroughly before storing. A light sweep with a polishing cloth on the high surfaces while allowing the dark to remain in the crevices will highlight the design's details. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials as they can damage the metal, finish, and stones.
Let your antiqued or oxidized silver weather naturally. Do not clean or polish.
Bead pieces should always be dried flat, never hung.
For deep cleaning or restorations, we recommend sending your pieces to the studio as many of our finishing techniques are proprietary. Each request is handled individually, please contact the studio to discuss.
We do not use cadmium or zinc in our any of our gold, sterling, or solder. All of our earring designs incorporate a 14k gold hoop or post back with butterfly clutch. And our 18k white gold is nickel free. This should cover most common metal allergies, if something different is needed, please contact the studio we are happy to discuss recommendations.
